Dr. Joshua Vandersteen
Gastroenterologist

Dr. Joshua Vandersteen grew up in the Salt Lake valley and received his undergraduate education from University of Utah where he graduated cum laude. He completed his D.O at Midwestern University in Arizona and went on to complete his residency and fellowship at Loma Linda University. Today, he specializes in digestive disorders affecting the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver and pancreas, and the biliary system. People with frequent digestive problems such as nausea, heartburn, or abdominal pain are encouraged to visit Dr. Vandersteen for a closer look.

Joshua loves the outdoors in his free time, especially wakeboarding, hiking, and snowboarding. He is an avid college football follower and is happily married with three beautiful daughters and one son.

Dr. Chad Gonzales
Gastroenterologist

Dr. Chad Gonzales graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Utah State University before attending the University Of Utah School Of Medicine for his MD. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Utah Hospital and Clinics in 2002 and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Iowa in 2005. Dr. Gonzales then returned to the Ogden area where he’s been practicing ever since.

Education is also a large part of Dr. Gonzales’s life. He’s been involved in teaching pre-medical students, medical students and medical residents over the years and is a clinical instructor of GI endoscopy, Adjunct Professor of Surgery at the University of Utah.

Some of Dr. Gonzales’s special interests include hepatitis, GI functional disease, inflammatory bowel disease including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. He is a member of the several societies including The American Gastroenterology Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, International Society of Functional GI Disorders, and Ogden Surgical Medical Society

Dr. Robert Ziegler
Gastroenterologist

As a gastroenterologist for over 20 years, Dr. Robert Zeigler has helped hundreds of patients with GI-related problems. In addition to his experience as a colonoscopy doctor, he also performs laparoscopy surgery for the diagnosis and treatment of digestive conditions.

Dr. Ziegler studied at University of Arkansas School of Medicine for his Medical Doctorate, Internal Medicine Internship, and Internal Medicine Residency. He went on to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center & Carl T. Hayden, VA Medical Center for a Gastroenterology fellowship in 1996.

In his free time, Dr. Ziegler enjoys hiking and other outdoor recreation activities. He grew up in Arkansas and enjoys living in the Ogden area with his family.
