Stop Colon Cancer Before it Starts!

Did you know colon cancer is one of the most common cancers in America? It’s also one of the most preventable.

Colorectal cancer is third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States. It's the second most common cause of cancer deaths. It's anticipated to cause approximately 52,550 deaths during the year 2023. A majority of those deaths could have been prevented if the patient had undergone a colonoscopy procedure. Colonoscopy is a safe, reliable, and effective way to test for and prevent colorectal cancer.

Recently, the American Cancer Society lowered the recommended age for individuals to start getting screened for colon cancer from 50 to 45 years old.

Colonoscopy screening is a vital tool for detecting colon cancer and other diseases of the colon early, when they are easier to treat. Stay informed about the risks and take action to prioritize your health by getting screened for colorectal cancer.
